A range of activities from traditional and contemporary Scottish culture including: Pipe Band Competition, Highland Dancing & Scottish Country Dancing Displays, Heavy Weight competitions, Public Events, Roman & Norse Historic Battles, Fencing, Ancient Weapons, Pipe Band & Solo Piping competitions, Celtic Music Groups, Tossing the Caber, Sheaf & Haggis competitions, Traditional Scottish food (Haggis, Mutton pies) Scottish Stalls, Children’s activities, Wood Turning and Carving, Scottish Clan Societies & the Famous ‘Ode to the Haggis’, Highland Cattle, Highland Terriers, Shetland Ponies & Clydesdales.
Also featuring the NZ Open Solo Piping Championships.
The event is a family friendly day including Pipe Bands, solo piping & drumming, Highland and National Dancing, traditional field events, children's events, Clan & market stalls and an evening ceilidh.
Free on site parking and camp sites available @ $5.
Entry $10 per person, children under 15 free.

The 27th Annual Paeroa Highland Games & Tattoo will be held on Saturday 8th February 2020 at the Paeroa Domain. What started out as a small Pipe Bands Competition has grown over the years, and today is a fully-fledged Highland Games, one of only seven such Scottish gatherings in New Zealand, and the only one in New Zealand to hold an Evening Tattoo.
Octagonal Day - Saturday 15th February 2020 being held in the Octagon Dunedin.

City of Rotorua is hosting the CNI Contest on the Village Green, an awesome venue and Street March on the road close to venue.

The dates for the 2020 RNZPBA National Championships in Invercargill are now confirmed as Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March.
