RNZPBA Annual Conference

The annual conference will be held on Saturday 11 September at the Brentwood Hotel, 16 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington (free parking available). Starting time is 9:30am, with an expected conclusion time of 4:00pm.
Please register with the Executive Officer as soon as possible.

RNZPBA Summer School UPDATE

A big reminder for Bass/Tenor section participants - Tyler Fry will be principal section tutor, and Jack Lee from Simon Fraser University will return as head of the tuition staff for the week, so enrol now - don't miss this increadible opportunity to work with two of the world's best!

Pipe Band personality receives QSM

Jim Fraser of Christchurch was recognised in the New Year honours list, for services to pipe bands. The Press article can be found here .  Jim was apponited a Life Member of the RNZPBA at the 2009 AGM, at the ChCh Contest.

Contest Rules - Dec 2009

Following this year’s remit round there have been a number of changes to the Contest Rules.  Please discard the 2008 edition and substitute the 2009 Contest Rules.

2011 Contest host approved

At the RNZPBA Annual General Meeting, a proposal to run the 2011 Championships in Timaru was submitted by the South Cantebrury Centre.  The proposal was accepted - details will follow soon.
