2008 Grading Reviews
Meeting held in Papakura, Saturday 8th March 2008.
Present: All Music Judges and National Contest Supervisor

The performance of the winning bands and lower placed bands in all grades was debated fully and the following decisions were made:
Grade 4
Taranaki Competing Band promoted to Grade 3.
Grade 3
Manawatu Development Band promoted to Grade 2. Subsequent appeal against promotion upheld (May 08), so will remain in Grade 3
Canterbury Caledonian Royal Stewarts promoted to Grade 2.
No relegations to Grade 4.
Grade 2
City of Dunedin promoted to Grade 1.
Pipes and Drums of Horowhenua relegated to Grade 3.
Grade 1 – No relegations to Grade 2.
